THE CHEAT SHEET

This was such a killer find! I'm always looking for ways to expand on my general writing unit and to provide more options across the board for how to introduce the concept of making comparisons between subjects, objects or texts. This was absolutely amazing with my 9th graders especially and cut down a lot on the general push back toward nonfiction based writing.

This is a fantastic resource at such a good price! I have never enjoyed teaching poetry form and structure as much as I have by using this mini unit. My students especially loved the assignment where they had to analyze a group of poems for specific structure. I cannot recommend this enough.
